The Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MoEPP) has issued A Integrated Environmental Permit (A-IPPC Permit) to Cementarnica USJE AD Skopje. The procedure for obtaining A-IPPC Permit has started in June 2007 and was carried out in compliance with the applicable legal requirements.
During the procedure, MoEPP representatives conducted several inspections in all parts of the installation and stated that the manner of operation in Cementarnica USJE AD Skopje meets the environment protection requirements and, often, the internal criteria and procedures are stricter than the legally prescribed regulations.
This Permit is a verification of our efforts for environmental protection and, at the same time, it provides an internal framework for further follow-up of all activities in the cement plant from environmental aspect.
