On November 11, the team of Cementarnica USJE with more than 40 employees, including the management team, organized an autumn action for planting trees. The action was organized in the USJE quarry, near Pripor settlement. During the action, more than 2050 tree seedlings were planted: pyramidal and Arizona cypress, black pine, wild lilac, black ash and oak.
Rehabilitation of the quarries, afforestation, greening of areas within the factory and maintenance and improvement of the surrounding vegetation are part of the environmental and rehabilitation policy of USJE. Cementarnica USJE regularly participates in such actions and since 1998, more than 364,000 trees have been planted or donated to third parties for planting.
