Cementarnica USJE was awarded with an Accolade as SDG Pioneer. Our company presented its best practices by linking them with following SDGs: Goal 3: Good health and well-being, Goal 4: Quality education and Goal: 13 Climate change. Through its application USJE presented how the selected goals for sustainable development are implemented in the company operation and how the activities we undertake contribute to the fulfillment of the stated goals.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Economic Affairs, Mr. Fatmir Bitikji, the Coordinator of the United Nations in the Republic of North Macedonia, Rosana Dudzak and the Executive Director of Konekt, Ms. Nikica Kusinikova had their speeches at the ceremony.
The SDG Pioneer awards contest in our country is organized for the second time, in partnership with the UN Global Compact Network and Konekt. Cementarnica USJE AD Skopje at the last ceremony was awarded as SDG Pioneer company.
