Safety and health at work is a top priority at Titan USJE, which is why we are continuously working on improving standards. In that direction, a fire drill was held in the company, in which, in addition to the teams from Titan USJE, representatives of the Crisis Management Center (CMC), the Protection and Rescue Directorate (PRD) and the Fire Protection Brigade (FPB) of the City of Skopje.
The demonstration exercise was carried out within the company, where a fire was simulated in the main engines of the vertical cement processing mill. During the exercise, focus was placed on the reaction of employees in response to the incident, internal coordination and communication, as well as the importance of early warning and early notification, reporting and alarming. As part of the exercise, an evacuation process of employees was also carried out with electronic verification at assembly points and communication and coordination with the competent institutions.

In order to achieve a high level of health and well-being of employees, it is important to constantly work on improving standards, but also to intensify cooperation with the competent institutions. In this way, in addition to exchanging experiences, joint action is promoted that is also in the interest of the wider community," said Valerija Milanova, Health and Safety Manager at Titan USJE.
