"The significance of building materials for quality of construction"
At the occasion of 60-year Anniversary, Cementarnica USJE organized a Professional Technical Conference in Skopje titled "The significance of building materials for quality of construction".
The aim of the conference is to present and exchange the latest professional opinions about the quality of construction materials, with special focus on cement and its control, the applicable standards, the local legal regulation, the building materials market control as well as the trends and prospects for development of the domestic construction industry.
Distinguished speakers at the conference were the Chief Executive Director of Cementarnica USJE, the Minister of Economy, representatives of Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Faculty of Civil Engineering, representatives of different certification bodies such as ZIM, GIM, Institute of Standardization, Accreditation Institute, as well as representatives of construction companies Beton, Granit and Ading.

Conference participants welcomed the initiative of USJE for this kind of dialogue between businesses, institutions and experts and pledged to continue and deepen it in function of successful monitoring and aaplication of modern trends, and in finding effective solutions to challenges that can disrupt prospects for further development of the domestic construction industry.
