Titan Usje opens the "Innovatorium – Club of Advanced Knowledge and Skills": Inspiring Youth Towards STEM Education

2/13/2025

Enhancing students’ skills, providing greater education, and implementing new methods and techniques in learning STEM subjects – science, technology, engineering, and mathematics – is the main goal of the Innovatorium – Club of Advanced Knowledge and Skills, which was officially opened today at Titan Usje.

The Innovatorium offers opportunities for learning and acquiring new skills in various technical fields, with content that will be upgraded and adapted according to the needs of students. The educational sessions will be conducted by lecturers from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Skopje (TMF), who will engage young minds through interactive content and foster their interest in technical knowledge.

“Educating young people is not only the responsibility of institutions – we all have a duty to contribute to this process. That is why we initiated this project: to offer young people additional opportunities for education and to add new value to formal education. The interest in using this space is already high, and I sincerely hope that we will create a positive impact in education. We will continue to collaborate with all institutions and partners to develop projects that benefit the community because we believe that public-private partnerships are an excellent model for progress,” said Konstantinos Nikolaou, Chief Executive Director of Titan Usje.

The Minister of Education and Science, Dr. Vesna Janevska, also attended the opening ceremony and stated: “Innovative initiatives, especially those focused on education, have the widest impact on the community. Every new investment by companies in education, knowledge, and skills for young people brings multiple benefits: it demonstrates that businesses are aware of their responsibility to give back to the community in which they operate and earn, it creates better-trained personnel who will integrate more successfully into the labor market, and it helps reduce poverty,” said Janevska.

Also present at the event were the principals of primary schools from the Municipality of Kisela Voda, who will have access to the Innovatorium's facilities. All scientific tools and resources will be made available to mathematics, physics, and chemistry teachers from the municipal schools for use in their regular classes.

At Titan Usje, WE CARE about fostering knowledge and skills that prepare young generations for the future. The Innovatorium Club is not just an initiative but our commitment to the community, to youth, and to the future.

At Titan Usje, WE DARE to embrace challenges in a time of rapid technological advancement, where digitalization and artificial intelligence are transforming how we live and work. To thrive in this new era, young people must not only learn but also create, experiment, and innovate – and that is exactly what our Innovatorium Club will provide.
