Cementarnica USJE is fully aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and we work with our stakeholders to protect the environment, develop better products and raise industry standards.
In 2019, Cementarnica USJE won the SDG Leadership Award from the "Building cross-sectoral partnerships for sustainable development" project, which was funded by the EU and implemented by the NGO Konekt. USJE was recognized for its activities in implementing the principles of the United Nations Global Compact in all its business practices, and especially in the areas of good health and well-being, responsible consumption and production, environmental protection and partnership to achieve the UN Global Compact goals.
